I have loved getting the opportunity to give back to my community by being part of the governing body and being a philanthropy chairman. Through governing body meetings, I have learned that teamwork
and dedication makes everything possible if you put your heart and soul into it. Assisteens has taught me that we can make a difference and make a change. I have learned leadership and public speaking skills that I will carry forever, and the most important lesson that by giving back, whether in terms of volunteering or even just a compliment, we can lift others."
